Review for Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County, Fort Worth, TX, USA
When I resigned my full time job I wanted to do something to give back. My husband talked me into delivering Meals on Wheels. I figured, OK I will try it for a little while. That was over 5 years ago and I still deliver. The clients are always so happy to see you, and the staff of Meals is absolutely awesome. I have never seen anything but smiles, never heard anything but positive feelings. With as many volunteers as they have, they know every one of us and if something happens and you have to cancel a day they never ever tell you you are making their life difficult. I will keep doing this till I can no longer do so, which hopefully will be a long time away.
