As a local resident of the Florida Keys I am often asked to recommend a place for visitors to interact with dolphins. There are a handful of facilities to choose from and I always recommend Island Dolphin Care.
They provide therapy to children with special-needs, veterans with PTSD and first responders. Additionally they provide education to the general public and provide you with more knowledge than you thought you could know. Their mission is only to bring purpose, without exploitation, to the eight dolphins at their facility. All the staff are very knowledgeable, super friendly and dedicated to Island Dolphin Care’s overall vision of respecting and seeking the best life and environment possible for the eight dolphins in their care. You will remember your experience always and fondly.
