My Case Manager is the most compassionate and caring person I've ever met. She calls and checks up on me, I can talk to her about anything that's on my mind and she understands and brings me comfort every time. She also reminds me of my doctor's appointments and even calls to see how they went. I can go on and on about her worth. I'm happy she's in my life and I want her to be my family for life.

At AIDS Resource, I found both the financial and emotional support necessary to help me navigate the terrain that is the area’s social services network. I found, not a hand out, but the proverbial hand up, a helping hand that allows me to do what I am able to do and helps me to do what I otherwise can not. I found help for my family and me with finding medical care, obtaining “affordable” medication, and keeping the medical insurance without which I would surely go under. And I found a way of looking beyond myself and my fears to all that is best in a real community.
