Breast Cancer Prevention Partners is an amazing organization focused on prevention. I love that the work we do is rooted deeply in science. The organization is led by smart, engaged, and caring individuals who are focused on adovacy and eliminating enviornmental issues which impact women and men around the globe. The science forward approach coupled with strong partnerships allows BCPP to have a voice at the table on issues of policy and access to best practices that work. An informed agenda to help move us towards preventing this terrible disease.

I've served as a Board member for two plus years. I joined because BCPP is committed and focused on prevention; there is a void of other voices in the prevention space. BCPP's leadership at the state and national level as well as their influence and partnership with consumer corporations is impressive. Thier mission is aligned with my values. I want to stop cancer before it starts as too many women in my circle of family and friends have been impacted by breast cancer.

BCPP's expanded reach to communities of color (learn from and with) is inspiring. We know too often that communities of color are in many cases disportionately impacted when diagnosed and their survival rates are much lower than white women. Prevention and access to good healthcare is key.

I know that the work that BCPP advances makes an impact.
