My experience at FIMRC was phenomenal as I was introduced and exposed to many aspects of the global health topic. Not only did I gain more knowledge in healthcare and global health, but learned about various communities around the world as well as was exposed to deeper knowledge within particular career pathways. I personally helped create an educational summer program for the primary school children in Project La Merced, Peru, participated in various discussions regarding the project sites in FIMRC, as well as case studies regarding common diseases, illnesses.
