I wanted to donate to a trustworthy charity during lockdown, and the Fistula Foundation featured as one of the most open and ethical of all charities. Since then that positive reputation has grown; I’ve been in awe of their life- affirming work with young women and the way lives can be utterly transformed by a relatively straightforward operation. I’ve also been really impressed by the very personal way of expressing thanks for each donation. What a great thing to do, to remove the stigma of rejection and to empower women to make the most of themselves. Great work!
