Pam from Doing Right by Rescues is like a guardian angel to all rescue dogs.

We are new to fostering and caring for dogs in general - all we knew was that we wanted to have dogs in our lives. When we initially contacted her, it was because we had questions about what it takes to adopt. We got her contact info from a local animal shelter.

Pam patiently and thoroughly answered all our questions - she spent a whole hour on the phone, in the midst of her busy, busy schedule. From that conversation, we decided that fostering was the right thing to do because it will give us a chance to slowly learn about what is involved in caring for a dog, and, it will also help rescued dogs find their furever homes! So, we started our journey there.

We have not actually had sessions with Pam because both our fosters got adopted before our appointments took place. However, I am extremely impressed and touched by Pam's dedication and commitment to these furry friends who are having struggles with fears and anxieties. She is extremely organized - earning my trust that this organization has an established and reputable system. I am also aware that she also travels around the country to run workshops and sessions.

I went on to their website and saw how mindful and purposeful they are about the manner of the visits. The descriptions and rules on the website paint such a serene and respectful haven for any dogs that step their foot on to the property. I cannot wait to meet Pam and witness her magical work with our foster one day. I am sure she will be amazing in person!
