My 15 years old daughter, MJ, has participated in the Statement Arts performing arts summer camp for the past four summers. She looks forward to it every year and I actually have to plan our vacation around the camp! She loves to sing and over the years, thanks in part to the Statement Arts family, her confidence and desire to perform has grown. Through performance arts and script development, Statement Arts provides a safe space for participants to express their thoughts and ideas about important issues that impact their lives and their community. As a rising junior, the college prep workshops got her think about the college process early and because of this we are ahead of the game. Most importantly, she developed friendships.
