I was wary about this when my boss first told the employees to apply. But I figured that even if I got a "no," at least I tried. I got call less than a week after I applied and was told they were going to cover a month of rent. When I tell you I almost cried in the middle of Target, I mean it. The rep that helped me (I can't remember her name) was very kind and made sure that I knew that they were happy to help. It makes me so incredibly happy to know that there are people out there who care about other people.
I wasn't sure how it was going to work, but the rep told me that they would send out a check and all I had to do was deposit it into my account. It was super easy to apply and super easy once it all got worked out.
