Review for The Borgen Project, Tacoma, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I worked as an HR intern for The Borgen Project this summer for 12 weeks. It was quite a rewarding and worthful experience. Through my role, I was able to gain a thorough understanding of the job recruitment and had the opportunity to listen to many candidates' interviews. Listening to these interview samples allowed me to place myself in the position of the recruiter and recognize the potential for the growth of my own interview skills.

Moreover, The Borgen Project does an excellent job of promoting awareness regarding global poverty. It educates me on how to use political means to help the disadvantaged. Writing emails to my Congress representatives has been my weekly routine, and I am truly glad that I can make a difference through them.

Overall, I think The Borgen Project is a passionate, motivating, and ambitious grassroots organization that unites many talented people together. Downsizing global poverty may seem challenging and unrealistic for one person, but if everyone makes a difference, then the world will be a better place.
