Review for Kids Who Count, Salem, UT, USA
Our son needed services when he was only a few months old and they continued until he graduated at 3. We worked with Mary and Annette the entire time and they really helped give us ideas to help little D. D has 2 short arms and a total of 7 fingers, had open heart surgery, plus 4 other surgeries and struggled to gain weight. Annette helped track his weight and development and Mary helped come up with great activities to help D use his hands/ arms better. When D was born and for the first 5 months of life he NEVER moved his left arm and we thought it wasn't useable. With Mary's help D has been able to learn to move his arm above his head, use tools to fix things and play. We also had speech services and it helped D learn to speak more and start saying words.
