I do a lot of texting and some letter writing with Food and Water Action. It's a great group to volunteer with if you care about the environment--climate change, food, air, water, human health. A few examples--I've texted about federal bills to ban fracking, specific actions around the country against fossil fuel infrastructure, family farms, and so many super important causes, as well as writing letters to help elect amazing progressive candidates. I came to FWA through participating in local meetings and rallies for Food and Water Watch, but with FWA I get to reach out to people all over the country. The FW people are amazing--so friendly and responsive. They make you feel like an important part of the team. Highly recommended group to volunteer with!
