I became involved with the Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC)because I wanted to help improve life for the people in my community. BCOC is involved , not only with moving people out of poverty but also with helping them as they make that difficult transition. In addition it helps these people become self sufficient.
As I like to paraphrase an old saying “it gives people a fish and teaches them how to fish” at the same time.
We all have challenges that occur in our lives and BCOC helps the people of Bucks County face and overcome these challenges.
It is a first rate organization run by first rate people.
