Hello, my family and I live on a small farm in Calvert County, Maryland. Due to deadly Tropical Storm Isaias we were awfully stunned to find out our sole, entrance and exit from the property was fissured and split in half. This catastrophic fracture in our road inhibits an essential COVID working Kaiser Permanente Nurse, and Calvert Memorial medical technician to go to work. Along with this huge burden, there are two diabetics who are not able to leave the property, which is a major hazard for their health sake. The farm is privately owned and has no qualifications to receive state assistance. Financially, this is an extreme bleak, because the residents live on fixed incomes making this situation impossible to handle alone. Please let me know if you are able to offer any assistance with materials to build a foot bridge so we can get to the other side safely.
