I was at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville for a liver transplant in 2019. I learned of the Gabriel House while staying at the Marriott on the hospital grounds. I've nothing but praise for the staff and volunteers. I felt as though I was visiting family for the four months I was being treated. Rooms are huge and the 4 station kitchen was awesome. If you were bored it was your choice to be so. There are scheduled scheduled activities and outside businesses would come in and cook for everyone.

If you need to be at the Mayo Clinic and need to stay contact the House and see if they have room. Yes, there is a waiting list but people checked in and out on regular basis.

I'm grateful the Gabriel House was available to me and my caretakers.
