The Bucks County Opportunity Council has not missed an opportunity to serve the community. Since the pandemic's earliest days they were at the forefront pivoting their operations to meet the communities increased needs. Their employees worked tirelessly around the clock to source, organize and deliver services in the absence of volunteers for several months. I recently helped at the Fresh Connect event in Bristol and despite the rain, facemasks, and long lines of people in need, the BCOC staff made a point to connect with as many clients as possible by dancing, waving and telling jokes! It lifted my heart and I could tell that the clients had a good experience.
