KHS has been very compassionate with handling the euthanasia of an elderly cat, encouraging and supportive with fostering neonates, great community care clinic that makes care affordable and excellent social media through which we were introduced to and adopted a great little pup.

Their staff goes above and beyond - and they are so overloaded with animals.

Our family volunteers and fosters animals. KHS staff has been great to work with - skilled, supportive and encouraging. Which is amazing given the hard and emotionally tough work they do. In my professional life I was an exec director for a granting organization.

I have enjoyed volunteering with the Kauai Humane Society. They are organized and have an online volunteer portal. Everyone we have met has been thoughtful and compassionate. The animals are well taken care of and just need that extra socialization to recover from neglect and abuse. The KHS is active in the community which I also appreciate.
