Very supportive for those of us who have to deal with this debilitating disease on a daily basis. I have had an extremely hard time but the people within this organization are always there to support me as I navigate through different treatments.

Volunteers for the Blind has a very motivated and passionate director who really cares about the people who come through the doors. She tries her best to match the participants with appropriate volunteers who can help them reach their fullest potential. In addition, she motivates her interns to reach beyond their comfort zones to maximize their potentials. I highly recommend Volunteers for the Blind.
