Finding a new dog during a pandemic was not as easy as it seemed it would be. Countless families wanted a pet; however, Labrador Rescuers of San Diego made this process a smooth one. They kept in touch with us, answered any questions we had about the dogs we were interested in, were honest about the match between dog/family, and, most importantly, they are strong advocates for the dogs!

When we first got in contact with Labrador Rescues, the representative, Donna, immediately got in touch with us. She also reached out to fosters and consistently kept us updated. I'll never forget the message I received from her stating that a foster would soon be calling us to make an arrangement to meet a female lab. WE WERE SO EXCITED! She was excited for us, too. It was so sweet!

The foster contacted us and gave us a background on "Rosie". I could tell what an amazing rescue this was (yet again) to hear about the amazing care the lab was receiving. She was a former breed dog and was adjusting to a new life of just being a dog. When the foster drove up to our home in the Palm Springs Area all the way from the San Diego area, we couldn't believe it. This rescue goes ABOVE AND BEYOND! ! They truly love what they do and they care for these dogs immensely.

Now, we have our forever dog. I am so grateful for the care and love this rescue provides for their dogs.
