From the 10 intergenerational sessions this group held from October-March painting 350 rocks, to the planning for the scavenger hunt, teamwork to place rocks, and now keeping track of people finding rocks, it has been a huge undertaking! This group has been responsible for Simsbury Rocks! Town-wide Scavenger Hunt, a family-friendly event in conjunction with our town's 350th anniversary. They really wanted to find a way to include as many people in our community as possible. I believe, with this outdoor event that encouraged people to explore the trails, historical sites, and parks, they accomplished this goal!
