My name is Catherine, and I first experienced CWO through a servant of Christ, Greg Yoder. The Summer of 2019, I was able to take my second trip down to Haiti, this time, through CWO. While my first trip to Haiti was memorable and God-serving, my eyes were opened even further with the opportunity to see Haiti and its people from a completely different perspective. I didn't have the close-minded view of oppression and poverty, but instead one of hope and restoration. With the help of Greg Yoder and CWO, I saw how two very different parts of Haiti were in the process of being restored. I witnessed love that wasn't bound to one visit, but love that had lasted through years of trips returned. I saw a family that was already built but continued to build through the daily addition of brothers and sisters.
