Review for Energy Outreach Colorado, Denver, CO, USA
As a Board member of the SisterCarmen Community Center in Lafayette and working design engineer in the food service equipment field for 48 years it has been very rewarding working with the staff of the Non-profit division of Energy Outreach Colorado-NEEP. We are in the process of developing a food bank, client shopping facility and bulk warehouse to serve not only our Eastern Boulder County clientelle, but also the ability to warehouse bulk product for other county agencies without sufficient storage space. The task includes office space for ourselves and other non profit agencies who do not have a building or affordable space to rent. We are converting an existing former defense agency manufacturing facility and the assistance furnished by NEEP has been essential to getting us up and operating by late Spring 2011. Our building is 23 years old and the HVAC systems are old, inefficient and past their normal life expectancy. The redesigned use of the space made it even more complicated. The dedication of the NEEP staff to helping us through this proceedure has been extremely helpful.
