Review for Home Builders Care Foundation, Inc., Fulton, MD, USA
On two separate occassions, Home Builders Care Foundation gifted time and materials to Malta House. Malta House is an Assisted Living community in Hyattsville, Maryland. Malta House serves frail seniors with limited income and assets. HBCF replaced all of the common area carpet. The carpet was over ten years old and in desperate need of replacement. HBCF secured the vendor and gifted the carpet and installation. A few years later, we requested that HBCF work with us in transforming our residental grade kitchen into a commercial kitchen. HBCF secured two organizations that designed and installed this new kitchen. All laminate cabinets and counters were removed and replaced with stainless steel open shelving and stainless work services. Flooring tile was repaired and plumbing and electrical issues were addressed. From start to finish, all work was conducted professionally. The giving spirit and true appreciation of our seniors was apparent by all involved. Without HBCF, this work would have never been completed. We will forever be appreciative of this organization and its mission and purpose.

Our seniors at Malta House are so proud of their community. The commercial kitchen installed by Home Builders Care Foundation opens up to the resident dining room. Residents and their families were absolutely overwhelmed by look and quality of the kitchen. Many residents commented that they never had such a beautiful kitchen in their own home. The generosity and goodwill afforded to Malta House and the residents was a true blessing.
