Spirit has been a gift to our family - it literally got us through Covid. A safe, outside activity I could share with my teenager. And I even got my husband on a tractor as a volunteer! My favorite part of participating in the program is supporting the parents of our riders - watching their faces when their kids ride alongside kids and adults of all abilities. It's such a relief in this high pressure area of the country (DC metro) to visit the farm and truly take a deep breath with ponies and friends.

Spirit is a true joy - for students, volunteers, staff. Everyone is so supportive and focused on making sure every lesson is safe, that the riders are appropriately challenged, and that we all learn and grow each time we're part of Spirit's work.
