I first learned about Mended Hearts in May 2018, three months after my heart attack and emergency quintuple bypass surgery. I almost immediately got very actively involved on the blog, discussing a myriad of issues and concerns voiced by Mended Hearts members, developed nice relationships with a number of my fellow members, people with whom I easily could call my friends, and one particular friendship with someone on the other side of the continent.

It has been a wonderful experience sharing thoughts, feelings, problems, advice and experience with this group of men and women who all have undergone experiences similar to mine.

Thank you, Mended Hearts, for bring me together with my brothers and sisters.
