I volunteer as a dog walker. I have been involved in rescue for a long time. HSHV takes excellent care of every sweet creature in their care. Dogs, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits........they rescue every animal in need of help. They don't give up, they will do whatever it takes to save animal. The shelter is amazing clean, and the residents there are well fed, get medical care, have plenty of clean water and comfortable beds. They are given tons of toy and treats. Most of all, they are safe and loved until they find their forever home.
