racist, reckless,untrustworthy liers! do not contribute here they only take care of junkie carccasion females.theylet them stay for months they don't do anything constructive but smoke with their children in there cars!!! They Fix they cars ,newer tires new whatever then give corgis and everything completely cater to them i mean all kind of stuff and these girl don't try to work or anything but if u black u won't even get diapers if you don't ask the right person! Is really sad!they asked us to leave ,me and my son out 2 days before Christmas .he's 8 months old at this point,they wanted me to leave cause they dropped my son and resided to show me the video on camera so they asked me to leave.....smh...... so finally i did leave the next day, but we had no where to go.me along with the other black girls stayed quiet we all talked about it though.we can't get any help from them they even told me their not responsible for getting baby water we have to get our own water.but they buying all kings of crap for the junkies but couldn't but water for an infant....i told the right person though and the water started coming.i asked for baby wipes they gave my make up cloth wipes its doesn't even LOOK like diapers wipes and it was open!!!! All i could do was go buy my son some on my own smh, they hurt my child and lied about it but later admitted it and them asked us to leave winter time 2 days before Christmas this place needs to be shut down.I'm a African woman this place only helps white woman not the black ones of your are sending money here just know it barley guess to ANY of the girls they take what they want first and give us the rest I've seen it with my own two eyes. i couldn't even get a gas card to go do a restraining order on my abuser.a I'm struggleing to find away to court a fellow dv survivor my friend(a white girl) she told me To ask them they can take you or give u a gas card.they refused to do both.she felt so bad about how they were treating me she took me herself.smh she's the one who told me also they were racist and she's white!! She wasnt racist though! They are not taking care of there women and you would be better off giving your money to salvation army ,they help everyone! that's who help me and my son when we left there 12 midnight.peace place is the exact opposite of its name!!!! If you think I'm lying every reverie negative you dings about this place of from a black girl...that's hurtful i my while life ,have takenup for the other race that all purple aren't the same and that white folks and black folks get along better than blacks do amongst themselves...i now stand detecte corrected i think i just never experienced being isolated or tested differently and I'm always the only black girl in a crowd of a mixed race group i live purple in fact none thinks I'm black unless you are looking at me when I'm talking.i grew up around white people good people. I simply didn't know how some people truly can be racist but now i do And i don't stand for it !!! my boyfriend encouraged me to do this (he's white and native American),when i told him about what happened but i just didn't want to focus on that but now,seeing the after effects,...my son hadn't said a word and had been different since they dropped him made me feel the need to speak up about this! if for no other reason ,just to protect other infants this isn't safe for children that can't talk they love the hold your child but they have know idea what they're doing and they are liers and can't be trusted with your life because that's what you're doing when u tell mothers with children running away from they abusers,"your safe you will be safe here"! But it's not true in fact its the opposite...Nothing but drama and abuse the entire time i was there which was two yrs ago. God is good. Salvation army was our first stop then we was blessed with a town house just me and my son and we didn't handed to pay a some nowtoday i have my own apartment i have a 2018 truck and a2007 jeep compass. My house look like toys r us...i made sure my son has everything he wanted and need.even when i was there! I bought everything for my son just to show them we only here cause we have no place to go not because we are hopeless.god gave us blessings because i left this whole situation to god. Bible says you can fool man but you can't fool god! I came across this review and thought i would share my story with the world so No other family can experience the abuse i did at a place that's supposed to be safe haven !And that people STOP supporting a place like this! Keeping a place like this up and running is a hudge society set back...this is not what Americans should stand for ! your money is not being well spent ! Its actually very close to being a scam operation.DON'T SUPPORT THIS PLACE its NOT HELPING SINGLE MOTHERS OF ALL RACE AND YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE SAFE HERE!
