As a doctoral candidate of Ethiopian origin, isef for me is a good family. I am a first generation in academy like many others and I get tools for my academic development, social networking, a model from amazing people who have been able to do that and are inspirational. Good friends who keep in touch and help each other. Isef is the knowledge that I have a back, that I have to address with almost every question and request, both personal and academic. In iseg, I am valued by my abilities and achievements and do not underestimate me because of the origin or the stereotypes about the origin. At Isef I am sure that knowing how easy it is to succeed in the conditions we live in today and where we came from. A stranger would not understand it. And of course, the ongoing scholarship, quite obviously, is a significant financial anchor for me. Thank you isef!!!
