We adopted Mahina from Kauai Humane Society. I first saw her picture on their Instagram from when a visiting family took her on a field trip. When we visited Kauai, I was hoping she was still there-she was and we were able to take her out for the day. We ended up falling in love with her and filling out her adoption forms when we took her back that evening.
The Humane Society did an amazing job with scheduling her flights and helping to get Mahina to the mainland safe and sound. They couldn’t have done a better job and we are so in love with our senior rescue dog.
