This is the best nonprofit organization I have ever known. More than 20 years ago, they saw an unmet need in animal rescue - there was no organization whose mission was to rescue companion birds- and met it magnificently. They not only save birds, but educate the public about companian birds, and re-home birds to vetted, forever homes. And they do it all with dedicated and well-trained volunteers - no paid staff! Over the years I have adopted several birds from Mickaboo, and the entire process was a joy - as are the feathered creatures I adopted! I have attended Mickaboo classes and events, and they were all educational and enjoyable. Mickaboo is 110% sincere, honest, amazingly effective, and worthy of complete support. Kudos, Mickaboo!
