My mom found this organization after her retirement as a Psychiatric nurse and director of nursing at a rehab facility in Atlanta. She wanted to give back to her fellow veterans using what she knows about recovery. This organization not only gave her volunteer work and fulfillment but also helped her cope with her own anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. They also helped her in getting a new service dog when hers passed from cancer. They have allowed her to heal and help other and find her best friend for this I will forever be grateful to them.
