East Texas Sheltering Arms Coalition is an astounding nonprofit organization. The founder of Sheltering Arms is a spectacular man who works tremendously hard to give God all the glory. He and his wife go out every Sunday after church rain or shine to provide restaurant-quality meals to people who need them. They do not turn anyone away. They allow God to do his part by trusting he will provide what is required to give everyone in need that day a wholesome meal. They not only hand out food, but they also hand out hope. They communicate with the people who come, make lasting relationships, and provide prayers for people who need or ask for them. My husband and I decided with God's leadership to give our tithes to this organization because we believe that it is God's work, and our tithes will help so many. We have enjoyed watching the growth in this ministry and witnessing all of God's miraculous tasks at hand. I know God will continue to provide for this organization and pray one day the nonprofit can complete their plans of building a self-sustaining tiny home community for homeless veterans and their families.
