A treasure for people who love animals and a miracle for animals who have been greviously treated by people. It isn't a zoo. It is a sanctuary. If you visit you can see some of the animals in a manner that isn't threatening or harmful to them. They live in large areas in family groups and you observe them from a mile and a half long overhead walkway. I suggest you bring binoculars. The promotions, admission fees, and events exist solely for the purpose of preserving the sanctuary to assure continued support for these animals and to continue the rescues that the sanctuary conducts.I support them monthly and encourage others who care about these animals to do so.
