It's been a couple years since we visited the sanctuary but I've never forgotten what an incredible experience it was. The sheer enormity of taking care of all the different species that have been rescued still boggles the mind.

Everyone who can really should visit - bring your children because it's a valuable educational experience for them. Not only to see the animals but to learn what impact we all have on the world around us and perhaps they will grow up with a better understanding of their place in Nature and how to be better stewards of same.
