I was able to connect with Project Hawai’i, Inc. during the shut down and covid crisis our islands face. I had seen a few posts on social media feeds and their thank you announcements to others who have helped the homeless children stay safe during this uncertain times.
I saw a cute photo of a homeless child wearing a mask they had delivered and another post of a boy with his fruit cup.
I was interested to see what they were up to and how I could be involved.
This program is run by people who wholeheartedly give of themselves. Being volunteers and still out in the community making a difference while this virus is still there.
I am so grateful to see this team out feeding children, providing PPE and caring for our most vulnerable populations.
So happy I saw their post on my friends feed.
