Back in 2017 we had our sweet rescued blue nose Pitbull Champ who required surgery originally to remove Mast Cell Tumors. We didn't have the money and had no idea where to turn. Then I found The Magic Bullet Fund and became a fund "family member". On the day of his surgery we discovered he had several very large Tumors internally and the surgery was cancelled. Again I panicked and called the fund in years. They said don't worry they would get the information required and would help cover the Chemotherapy treatments instead. Unfortunately the cancer had spread more than anticipated and we lost him in March of 2018. I was and still are forever greatful to them and because of their caring so much I became a volunteer with them I have held 3 volunteer positions sine 2018 and have loved them all. Being able to help others who love their dogs (and now cats) is a great feeling especially when they learn that we have been in their shoes already. We become a small part of their support system to help them navigate through their pets cancer treatment. Our sweet boy Champ
