Active Minds, with its mission to reduce the stigmas surrounding mental health by focusing on young adults, has really changed my life for the better. The supportive community of stigma fighters never fails to amaze me with their efforts and creativity to bring change in the world through mental health advocacy. I am so honored and thrilled that they make it easy for everyone to get involved too. As the incoming President at our Active Minds Chapter at San Diego State University, I am so appreciative of the resources and spaces they provide for us to begin these important conversations; both while I was physically on campus and even being online due to COVID-19.
