As a member of Assistance League Las Vegas, I can attest to many stories that tug on your heart strings. From helping a homeless person in dire need, to helping a person with clothing for a new job, to honoring a donation from a deceased loved one, we do it all in the Thrift Shop! Every day we make a difference in our community. Sometimes people just need to come in out of the heat. Sometimes they need a friendly ear to really listen. Yes, our Thrift Shop is a profit-making venture that allows our organization to fund our many community programs - and we have a lot of those! But the Shop is also a part of our Vegas Community. People come to us for more than our fantastic bargains. We are 100 percent volunteer. We love our customers and they love us. And that's why I'm a volunteer at Assistance League Las Vegas!
