Review for Veterans Airlift Command, Saint Louis Park, MN, USA
In early 2020, I began my next mission in search of the reasons why some veterans succeed after their military experience, and why some are unable to find the right path in transitioning home effectively. Behind this goal, also seeks the reasons why suicide as a whole is effecting so many? As you can see, this goal has many dynamics and many veterans would be needed to tell their stories. Documentaries are a costly thing and properly finding the right veterans to tell this story was not an easy nor were they a close resource.
VAC allowed this project to reach heights I never planned by going the extra mile to fly me to Arizona to interview and record some wonderful and resourceful veterans. Although their generosity may have been shown through a flight with Mike, their program also allowed a group of veterans to come together and share their experiences through a therapeutic approach. As many of us veterans know, sometimes this opportunity alone does wonders for us.
Your work at Veterans Airlift Command goes beyond the miles flown. Your program literally leaves a lasting impression on lives going forward.
