My son has been involved in NICA for 5 years now. From the beginning, I knew NICA was something special and amazing. The atmosphere is supportive and fun without being one of the "everyone gets a medal" sports. My son loves his team and has grown as a rider, racer and teammate over the years. Originally I stayed away from coaching because of the time commitment and other factors but last year I became a coach and I have zero regrets. I love riding with our team and find it super rewarding. I recently completed Level II coach training and I am so impressed with the NICA coaching program. It, like NICA's athlete program, is top notch.
