We lost our Shih Tzu to heart disease in Jan 2020. We went online and found the Briggs Animal Adoption Center near us in WVa. The facility is great and the staff is very helpful. They have great concern for their pets. We had to be vetted. We passed! We adopted a stray in Feb. "Trooper" is a Shih Tzu/Bichon cross. He has been our lifesaver through the covid-19 "stay at home". He gets us out 5 times/day. Snuggles on the couch, and sleeps with us. And the adoption fee was much less than their expenses for neutering, shots, & a tracking implant. Greatly appreciated by a retired couple.
