I was introduced to Roots and Wings 3 years ago when I first moved to a Delray School. They surprised me with a beautiful gift and cash around the holidays! I had worked in Title 1 schools for 5 years before moving to a Delray school, and had never felt that much appreciation! The fact that strangers value the effort, commitment and struggles for the teachers in Title 1 schools is so needed. All good teachers go above and beyond, and don’t require accolades, but when they are given it sure makes the journey much sweeter! Thanks to Ted and all the amazing members of Roots and Wings, we love you guys and all you do!!
