This Animal Rescue is by far the very best I have ever dealt with. Sandra Dezelan, the owner, has devoted her life to taking in homeless animals that people have abandoned. No matter what their story is, she takes them and fixes them and finds a quality home for them. We have adopted two dogs from Dezzy's. The first one was named "Bella the Biter" and although she had been at the rescue for months, Sandra did not give up on her. She works hard with all the animals be it physical or mental ailments. We ended up adopting her when we passed the significant requirements for adoption. Sandra makes sure every animal is adopted by the right people in a good home. No animal is too sick or injured to take in and restore to good health. Our second one was a senior Yorkie, Arthur, whom we only had for a few years, but we were able to love him and give him a good home. The donations they receive are stretched to the absolute limit and Sandra works miracles to save the animals. Her veterinarian husband, Mickie is a huge help to her. She has a devoted staff of volunteers and donations of food, water, supplies etc are also needed and used well. This is a definite place to see your donations go a long way. The pictures will show some before and after dogs and Sandra with her dogs and volunteers. This is where my donations are best used.
