I worked in the non-profit sector for many years and have volunteered at various animal rescues most of my adult life. Pug Hearts is by FAR the best-run and most caring one I have come across. The care for both the animals and the people involved is unmatched. I have always felt welcomed with open arms at events and by the long-term volunteers since starting to foster 1.5 years ago. The organization also provides a great support system to fosters both for any dog related issues, but also the inevitable challenges that come up in people's lives. I'm so glad to have found this group!
