PugHearts
Review for Pug Hearts Houston Pug Rescue, Alvin, TX, USA
I started by attending PugHearts events in late 2008 as I had two pugs of my own. After quite a few events I started volunteering with adoption events in my area and donating when I could. That led to helping with home visits of potential adopters and more volunteering. In July of 2016 my husband and I adopted a bonded pair after the passing of one of our pugs the previous Sept. I can't begin to tell you how wondering this rescue is. From their motto Any Pug, Any Age, Any Time (which is 100% true-as they sent volunteer to pick up pugs that were deceased on the side of the road so they could have a proper burial) to the quality of volunteers they have, to the way the rescue is ran. Many of the volunteers have been there for me in non pug related ways and have cried with me at the passing of my beloved Mr. Beasley (my heart). My life has been improved in so many ways by being apart of this amazing organization.
