Do NOT waste your time with this group. They will accept you, but if your are not in their "inner circle" you will never give you a greyhound. They accept your application, weeks will pass and they will continue to lead you on by telling you to "trust the process". When I began to get discouraged, I reached out to my friend--she is an avid greyhound lover and rescues in the area where she lives. She could not believe how long it was taking for me to receive a dog since so many of them need homes right now. Many of the tracks across the country are closing and rescue groups are overloaded with dogs. Time passed without receiving ANY contact from the two women who run this group, and then the $50 appeared in my paypal account. I have owned dogs my entire life, I had great references-- however, I was not in this group's selective circle that they seem to only provide dogs to. If you want to get a greyhound, go to another group. If you just want a dog, go to the shelters. If you want to waste your time and get led on, work with these women!
