AAUW FL Supporting Foundation, Inc provides an opportunity for middle school girls to attend a one week residential STEM camp on a college campus. Girls are nominated by their science or math teacher in order to be considered for camp. After applying, girls are interviewed by their local AAUW branch and ranked for consideration. The one week camp consists of girls from across the state of Florida. This week of camp is provided to the girls for free. They must only pay a $50 registration fee. Past campers praise this experience as a once in a life time opportunity to meet girls with similar interests and explore their interests in STEM.
