Review for Chewonki Foundation Inc, Wiscasset, ME, USA
My connection with Chewonki goes back 67 years as a camper, dishwasher, counselor, parent, Board Member and my current role as an Advisor. Obviously I have a deep appreciation and respect for the organization. Many of the counselors, Board Members and staff have had a profound effect on my education, and my years as a camper and counselor led to many years in teaching environmental studies from cradle to grave as well as participation on environmental organizations on the local, state and National levels. The Foundation continues to be a source of inspiration not only for me, but for all that come into contact with it.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
every aspect of their environmental programs and in the growth of their staff and students.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
hope to do as good a job as the Board and staff are currently doing.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the people I have met and the programs in which I have participated.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
and are life-long friends and teachers.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
continue to make the general public aware of the fragile existence of our life on this planet.
Ways to make it better...
I could have spent more time with them.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Find the necessary resources to sustain its operation.
One thing I'd also say is that...
The Foundation is fighting a rear-guard action, but it is doing a darn good job in doing so.
