I took my kids to Petsmart one day to look at the cats. Paws for Seniors were there and we fell in love with Miss Maxine (aka Maxini now!) we spent an hour or more there just chatting with Brenda and playing with Maxine. What I loved is that She took her time to get to know me and my kids right there. Yes, we filled out the application, but by the time we were done playing with Maxini and talking with her, she knew we would be a great home for Maxini. I didn’t have to wait to being my baby home, or go through some long exhaustive process. She knew we were going to give Maxini a good life and with my crazy life I really appreciated that! She was also super helpful to me when I had a tough time getting my other cats used to Maxine. Great organization with a big heart and doing great work. We will definitely adopt from them again should we decide to add a fourth kitty 😊.
