What a treat to finally meet Tony who was a professor for my husband (Nicaraguan) many years ago at the UCA (Universidad Centro America) in Managua! Fast forward a few decades and I had the pleasure to meet him, his daughter and son-in-law when they came to Nicaragua with the Eyeglasses program. I watched the long line of people outside the Managua office who were excited about receiving glasses and help for their poor vision. Inside I witnessed their expressions of delight and gratitude when they actually were able to see! Blessings to Tony, his family and all the WNP volunteers who continue to improve the lives of so many Nicaraguans, while building bridges of ongoing friendship.
